Courtney Act announces a new TV show on Channel 10

Courtney Act and are among the stars set to announce their own shows as part of Channel 10’s Pilot Showcase.

The broadcaster’s showcase is retuning in July with six brand new pilots set to air on 10 Play.

Among them is ‘Courtney’s Closet’ from Aussie drag sensation Courtney Act,  40.

The show will see the Australian Idol and Drag Race alumni transform a different celebrity guest into drag each week – while also hearing about their personal journey in an intimate interview, .

Elsewhere, Abbie Chatfield – who in three years has gone from a Bachelor reject to one of Australia’s most in demand talents – also has  a new show.

The podcast host, 27, shared the news of the exciting career move to her Instagram on Saturday, revealing she is hosting a show that was ‘filmed a while ago’.

Keeping the details mysterious, she went on: ‘This show is not just something I’m hosting, but also a concept of my own that has been a long time in the making.

‘That’s all the info I have for you for now, you’ll have to find out more when you watch it from July 4 on’.  

According to TV Tonight, she show will see Abbie ‘on a mission to explore, understand and reveal worlds not commonly seen or heard from on television’.

Abbie dives into two opposite ends of a subject, bringing her signature unapologetic brand of curiosity, passion and authenticity along, and asking all the questions the audience would never dare to.

Nikki, 40, who recently revealed she made $10,000 on her first day on OnlyFans raising money to save the koalas, will host a sketch comedy show.

It will feature her original viral character Bush Barber and is said to be a ‘wild, over-the-top send up of Australian culture at its funniest’.

The show  – set around a dinner table –  is set to be a ‘a no-holds-barred discussion about the biggest topics of today’.

There’s also a programme for fans of dating shows. The Love Experiment will see if singletons can call in love with a total stranger by asking 36 questions.
